Description: It is often said that when facing a malpractice action, the medical record can be the healthcare provider's best friend and in most cases, the bedrock of the defense. In this presentation we will look at a more global approach to the protections provided by a complete and accurate medical record. Included in the presentation will be the discussion of the role the medical record plays in protecting the patient.
