LAMMICO presents a simple way for healthcare staff to curtail overall expenses while simultaneously mitigating risk through superior patient safety education. Our Risk Management Premium Discount Program was established to reward hospitals and eligible ambulatory surgery centers that improve patient safety and reduce risk through utilization of LAMMICO online CME and CNE courses. Our courses are available free of charge to LAMMICO-insured hospital and facility staff. High quality risk management education leads to increased patient safety, reduced risk of malpractice claims, and cost-benefits to your employer.

Discount Eligibility Requirements

In order to receive the LAMMICO Risk Management premium discount credit, the hospital or eligible ambulatory surgery center will need to ensure that at least 25% of their full-time employed nursing staff completes a minimum of one course during the policy year. Facilities in Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi are eligible to participate in this costsaving risk mitigation opportunity. Upon subsequent policy renewal, premium credit will be awarded for professional liability policyholders with validated course completion rates.
